Ah, should I be leveraging the vAutoEditions setting, then?

Edit: I see you also shared a GIF after I quoted. I'm familiar with the ESD converter allowing me to force/specify the edition, just haven't been successful in doing so when going from UUP to ISO, yet.

 

For creating an enterprise only ISO by UUP dump, select Pro only on the website, after unzipping edit the convertconfig.ini file like this:

Other settings are up to your own preference but:

Code:

vDeleteSource=1

and

Code:

vAutoEditions=Enterprise

will create Enterprise from Pro and delete the source SKU (Pro) for Enterprise and leaves you with an Enterprise only ISO.

p.s. NetFx3 has no effect if AddUpdates=0

 

In your sample code, shouldn't StartVirtual be configured to 1 to have the [create_virtual_editions] section taken in consideration?

When selected at uup dump it will be set to 1.

 

Complete novice... when I run the UUP download windows command I get this. What am I doing wrong?
Current directory contains spaces in its path.
Please move or rename the directory to one not containing spaces.

move it to a folder like C:\uupdl without any spaces in it's path

 

Can the latest LTSC of as July (17763.2029 from July 6) be created from the virtual Enterprise N iso, created by the cmd script? If so, how?

 

No, LTSB/C is a separate SKU, can't be created from any of the business or consumer SKUs.

on another note,
does anyone collect the uup files of ip builds?
it's a thing of mine,
on my external hdd i've got 400 gbs worth of uup files.
on my main hdd i've got 221 gbs.
you may think me silly for collecting them, don't judge me!
will spinn up a windows server 2019 instance and run dedup on a vhd volume i'll create with all my uup files that will be arounds 600 gb + of files.
how much space saveings would you expect from the deduplication?

people will think it’s "silly" (rather stupid than silly) because it is useless (will you ever use these files again?)

most of the UUP files are already heavily compressed so you shouldn’t except savings >1%

Can you show the ISO filename?

 

22000.1_MULTI_X64_EN-US

 

That should be Win 11 / 22000 without updates integrated.
