    It does what it says:

    1. When selected it integrates the available updates.
    2. When selected it runs the cleanup of superseded components.
    3. When selected it integrates .net35
    4. When selected it compresses install.wim to install.esd which decreases the ISO file size with approx. 30-33% (can take a long time to run, depending on the used host hardware).

All is explained at the official Tutorial:

Thanks, I have done a search before ask but obviously my search wasn't good enough (or I need to change my glasses).

So, we can say that "the best ISO" is obtained by checking all options? Because (a) we want the most updated ISO, (b) fully not understood but must be good, (c) most of the time we end needing .NET 3.5, (d) smaller ISO is best for USB drives with Ventoy and a lot of other ISOs.

Bit of a stupid question, but if I wanted to download and compile an updated Windows 11 iso for clean install from UUPDump, which option would be te correct one:

    a. Cumulative Update for Windows 11 (22000.438) amd64
    b. Upgrade to Windows 11 (22000.434) amd64

I would say option "a" because of the higher build number, but nevertheless it's important to know what are the differences between the two options.

Edit: There is also a build 466 available, but I assume it is for the dev channel.
Microsoft says build 438 is the latest official build.

    Cheers.

This is the recommended option to use.

This offers the most complete and uptodate ISO for upgrade scenarios as well as clean installs from boot.

.438 is a Out Of Band update to fix a vpn situation,

I think I got it now. Windows 7 had only an old LetsEncrypt certificate that is expired now (Schannel logged error 0x80092013). I have installed the new ISRG-X1 root certificate by hand into the store, let's see if that fixes it.
Note, as I'm using a Firefox derivative browser with its own certificate store, I have never noticed. But the default aria2 build uses Schannel (system crypto). There are also aria2 static builds using OpennSSL.

It is not naked, it is ESU, fully updated Jan 2022.

My mistake then. I've seen 7 PCs that did not had the certificate issue, and assumed it's because updates, must have been a 3rd party software fixing it.

Mayhaps it is because they've given up IE11, and automatic certificate updates or revocation checks might be impacted on Win 7.

LTSC is not offered on UUP by MS.

How can I change the order (indexes) of editions? F.i. I'd like Enterprise to be first option, not Pro.

Can I exclude base edition? F.i. I don't want Pro, only Enterprise and Enterprise IoT.

By exporting the indexes to a new WIM in the desired order.

    Edit convertconfig.ini:
    Code:
    vDeleteSource=1
Now the base index, pro in this case, will be deleted, leaving only Enterprise and IoT Enterprise.
