It is not about the Windows apps, but about the Win32 software installed.

I understood, but because of that limitation, i assume it won't be supported to keep the apps in general:)

What is this 8 GB NTFS PortableBaseLayer partition that shows up on Disk Management? Is it related to Sandbox (which isn't even working)?

I think i will stick with 1809. I think 1903 has severe issues with kernel and driver interaction, something is off, don't know exactly what, but it feels more sluggish the entire experience. And my laptop is from 2018 with new HW and ssd drives.

I think microsoft has this wrong by doing constantly featuer updates like this. They should really move back to windows 7 update cycle, much more robust experience.

That is exactly related to the weird ntoskrnl.exe dpc latency issues this build has still but god forbid you bring it up trolls from near and far come and laugh at you for using such a specific tool to check dpc latency which apparently is frowned upon here. But in all seriousness run LatencyMon and see if ntoskrnl.exe is spiking to 800+. If so welcome to the club no one wants to be in with 1903.

Yes it is indeed related to Windows Sandbox. Disabling Sandbox will get rid of it.

I must confess I've found simple things like opening File Explorer very laggy at times (sometimes instantaneous, sometimes 5-10 seconds just to open it). I've reinstalled, tried various Antiviruses, all seemingly no difference.

Must be something local, never experienced any lag opening explorer.

What about Windows activating Storage Sense against my will after a clean install? Windows 10 1903 18362.1 Enterprise pt-pt is full of bugs.

I also did a clean Windows 10 install on a VM (I used Hyper-V) and nothing happens if I copy some folders from the host to the VM (except a beep on the latter), nothing shows (also on a VM) up on the Start Menu after typing some letters (except the thing's remaining name, if it exists) although it looks like after installing all updates and restarting Windows the problem is fixed and after logging in for the first time (also on a VM) the right blue network panel is empty however if I hover the mouse over it the options show up and if I hover it somewhere the panel becomes empty again.

I saw a stranger thing, when I install windows 10 1903 the windows defender protection is disable by default.
Is it a bug or a modified iso ?

    Thank you
