I agree, the stability of LTSB is just getting better and better, i have two PCs, my gaming rig using LTSB and my "work" PC is using the 1803, i can say that 1803 need some fixes, unfortunately i had stuttering issues with old games on 1803 (probably is a driver issue who knows) so on my gaming rig i use LTSB.
tnx this is MSDN version ? which diffrence between N version and without N ? With MTK can i active this windows?
1. Enterprise 2016 LTSB = MSDN = VLSC. 2. N = crippled edition. not a feature but enforced by EU law. Lacking most media features. 3. Any proper KMS solution kan activate Enterprise 2016 LTSB (+N).
Because it takes a reboot during oobe to let it install. when pre-integrated it doesn't and it also doesn't hurt to have it done
great. you recommend this version ? [ i dont like new ms modren app, perfomance is important] can i disable tementry [and spy tool embed in windows 10] ? for download windows 10 clean iso , this link is okay? (main site is eye_eu)orginal snap from MSDN? eye[dot]eu
The sku you want to run is personal, i always recommend to run the sku you have a (digital) license for (although these days that could be all).
Yeah but MS really wants people to jump on the "software as a service" train. Selling an OS to someone every 5 years or so doesn't make them enough money anymore. Same with Office. They are not advertising LTSB and I recall reading somewhere that Enterprise LTSB was developed reluctantly.
MS doesn't make that much money with Client Windows compared to Business and Server Branches. But the OS Division in general was demoted lately to a niche sub-division. It's the Cloud that generates the money. The future of Windows will be the Azure based Andromeda project to have Windows and Office subscription based.
^exactly and absolutely correct, I saw another day an article that I can not remember where talking about exactly about this and second I could see the Windows operating system itself was mentioned almost nothing and the emphasis was almost totally on the Azure
The Windows as we know it will prevail in a niche and the general direction to Azure was set with the last changes in the companies hierarchy. Their aim is to have the user only need to buy/own a quite small box (behind the monitor) and leave the system and files in the cloud. Time-based Subscriptions are a perfect way to have more control .
Hi, I would like to know if anyone here knows how to export the modifications (Input Rules and Output Rules made in Windows Firewall (in the 2016 LTSB case) and how to import these same modifications into a new installation to avoid the painful function of having to check one by one of the settings (Domain, Public and Particular) Thank you in advance.
