There will be enough time to get that finished like it should be.

 

For information purposes, i tried upgrading my 1909 to 19555.1001. Same error , same rollback, same place. So you cant blame me for not trying. I beleive something either fundamentally changed in the code, or the error is on the verge of resolving, since they look into it, and probably will be back ported to 20h1

 

MS have taken to long this build should been finished by now and roll put to the public....this is what happens when your trying to do to many things at one time.

It's just the cleanup-image dism command that breaks it, it's not something impossible to fix...

use windows live mail 2012, all others are watered down. find the live packages online though.

 

Why use 8 year old software? Rather not use anything at all !!

 

because it is all you need for email purposes, replaced windows mail that was removed from windows, it is fully featured windows software from MS, I like it as it also allowed importing from windows mail and continue use seemlessly. I dont see why you would miss out on anything with this program. Software does not get old, same as games or any utilities. You dont need leading edge stuff just for emails.

 

Windows Live Mail is no longer supported by some mail providers, because of its lack of support for newer encryption types I think.

 

I upgraded 18383.928 to 19559.1000 without issue. I have given up on this build.

so what? he said he has issues with this thread's build, therefore upgraded to fast ring, which is quite useful info, However, i dont see in release notes that they had fixed the upgrade failure issue fully, so maybe they are on their way.

 

From 18383.928 to 19559.1000.

I use the Windows 10 Mail app (exclusively at work) and it does not exhibit this behavior. What it *does* do, properly, is flag downloaded things as "from an external source" and it needs to be unblocked to avoid being prompted to run it. I am easily able to delete things I download tho.

 

i feel like this build is running like s**t now compare to 19555 it runs sluggish on computer that im testing it on drag and drop is super sluggish or it freezes then it starts to work again....ths thing needs work
