    because it was under testing, or you prefer Microsoft releasing an untested ISO ?

    Well... i don't see many differences between beta or testing or stable nowaday
    in particular with Windows 10 that became a "rolling" operating system, what is bugged today will be fixed tomorrow
    From day one Windows 10 is a perpetual beta

    I wouldn't bet anything that a Stable is more stable than a beta

    The language packs i have for 19041 i guess are the same for 19042?

    Because 19042 is actually 19041 with the enablement package that makes it think it's 19042.

    I left it empty till the updates were public, by now all info is known and published over 300 times and it's exactly the same as with 1909 EP, should not be a mystery.

    And now MSFT made it even more dumbproof, by simple MSU:

    20H1 > 20H2 by 2020 EP () Install the 20H2 EP

    I've added the info from the OP to my reply.

    Only for 19H2 and 20H2 dism won't show the 19042, but combining the package info and the iso filename should fix that.

    Actually MSFT released the 19042.508 ISOs to the public on Techbench, but they released 19042.572 on WU (ESD/MCT/Upgrade Assitant).

    Does the 19042.508 techbench iso fix the issue with inplace upgrade? or does 19042.572 fix it?
