    Automatic Maintenance does run WU Cleanup. And LCUs run Cleanup at the end. If there are no WU files left for Cleanup, the option isn't shown.

    Maybe the difference between the two builds before and after the update is too small to produce a project that can appear in cleanmgr.
    I'm not so sure. I always use dism's resetbase to clean up after each update, even if there is a certain risk in doing so.
