As @abbodi1406 wrote: it's the same cab file as on UUP, so yes, you can use them.

When on 20H2, not all updates from 20H1 will be offered by WU (maybe that is now changed wit the pre-release 19042.450 ESDs).

Of course that is OK, it's the file that WU uses in the retail ring for updating older builds. The MCT uses those ESDs too.

I notice that in 19041.450 clean installing Home version, the oobe has once again reverted to giving no option for a 'Local' user. Nowhere is there an option to create the user without a MS account.

Have you tried disabling internet access before installing? This used to work.

    Stay safe!!!!

No, it's Microsoft way of saying early access

Didn't you got the same with v1909 ESDs/ISOs?
the fake registry version can only be seen from inside installed OS, or Dism mounted image

How does Win 10 20H2 is faring for mdl members?

    I see that @Enthousiast, @SM03 , @aquarius84 , and surely other members too, are using Win 10 20h2.

I read that "Microsoft says Windows 10 20H2 ready for commercial testing, ISOs could arrive soon". (source: Neowin).

Does this mean this build (19042.450) is in the release preview?

Using 20H2 (19042.450) as my daily driver installed in 5-7 different systems & so far no big issue here apart from that old, small & infamous Defrag & Optimization bug which MSFT gonna fix very soon.

& Yes, 20H2 is still under the pre-release ring.

No, with normal ISOs I get all versions, not just one. Another reason why I hate esd, it always ends up messy.
But I found 20H2 ISO on **********.de (I always get it there before others wake up), so whatever. :pardon:

Yes, I was aware of this fix for the issue. Unfortunately, on the machine in question, I'd already connected via wifi, and the 'Back' button doesn't allow going back to the Network setup page. So I ended up using a known MS account temporarily. And then, of course, it forces you to enter a PIN number, again with no way to say no thanks.

There were no other images in esd, just Education. Normal ISO shows 19042 as expected.
