If your worried about the free space slot left behind as shown in your capture, just perform a free space defrag once you turn off hibernate. Shouldn't defrag an SSD but just once would not hurt - not much anyway.
I don't complain about either how the ISO is made. I want to say that after .487 update, my laptop had BSOD while running CPU intensive tasks like making a new ISO from UUP. On the previous update .450, there was no such issue; for example, I compiled a lot of C++ projects which used 100% CPU for hours, and there was no BSOD. I wonder if this BSOD only happens on the .487 update. Edit: I tried to again, and there was no BSOD. Maybe something else caused the BSOD on my laptop...
Nope these are good old WD Black Caviar HDD'S. So from reading articles because I really was tired of reading the same thing over & over, The defrag issue is partly fixed because there are 3 problems: 1) The more serious one: defrag of SSD drives too often 2) The less serious but still annoying one: forgets when it last optimized a drive. 3) The obvious but still annoying one: Tries to trim HDD's. So, 1 and 2 seem to be corrected, but 3 is a no go with latest update.
Yes I have a constant BSOD every 10-20 mins using 20H1.388/450 and 20H2.450/487. KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED. I do not have this on same laptop using 20H1 19041.264.
If there is no BSOD on the older version, then it could be either driver issue or the new OS update itself. Bad RAM causes the BSOD too, but I don't think it is the case since your laptop was working fine on the older update.
@Enthousiast @Ratha ITC Thanks for your help. I have been trying different solutions for a few days now, including the ones mentioned in your link but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I used verifier and it points to my graphics card drivers for HD3000. I know somewhat old but 20H2 update actually downloads a new driver upon installation but always results in BSOD. Just can't seem to resolve. I think this is Microsoft's or Intel's way of saying "buy new laptop"

Been out of the loop for a while. The possibility of a new build for 20H2 is very low at this point, right? With the Insider Preview build out, it looks like we're going to get only more CUs at this point. It seems "complete" relatively earlier than before. Will it require only a CU update from 20H1 rather than a full build?
It's all SSU/CU only since 19041.1 was on WU.
