I'm on 19042.450, clean installed from ESD, do I need to install SSU or any other update before applying the kb4566782?

KB4566782 (latest release) is integrated in esd 19042.450.
Esd 19042.450 has the latest SSU (KB4570334).
Note: The latest CU (preview) is KB4571744, it is not necessary to install SSU before application (there is no newer SSU than KB4570334).

I use Samsung Magician and daily it shows an increase of .1 to 0.2 TB even though I only use it for system and browsing. Defragmentation on SSD is unnecessary.

Nobody prooved there was defragmentation on ssd's, it can show it but did it actually do it or was it just a cosmetic gui thingy.

And still, it would not result in .1 to .2 TB.

When first I had 2004 on my system it was really defragmenting the ssd everytime after a reboot under "never run" gui state (both on manual optimize, or by checking the gui while the maintenance schedule was forcefully started for the first time). Along the defragmenting passes shown on gui, it was under heavy read/writing until finished.

Again, it looked to be related to the state of the ssd right after 2004 install. I suspect that if at that point it's flagged for the occasional (and sometimes expected) full defrag, that flag too isn't properly reset along the last defrag time. So if an ssd only required a trim instead (as most experience) at that point, that issue won't happen after every reboot. -> As on my second 2004 installation on the same system, were it'd only be trimmed as expected.

I know that link and info, thank you. :) That's why I mentioned in my previous post "at that point it's flagged for the occasional (and sometimes expected) full defrag", in reference to that occasional full defragmentation run on a ssd. The issue is when it's stuck on performing it every time.

I would go for the 19041.450 for a clean install you can always apply the update trough a cab file if needed to 19042.450
