anyone here get any updates today for 21h2 as i just did the 7 or 8 steps dism commands to enable my 20h2 to 21h2 or 19043.782 but no patch tuesday for me other than the malware checker update from MS

not sure if i should manually do the patches to .804 or wait for a windows update for 21h2

That is not the real 19043 but just a fake/mock up.

so i am screwed or just wait for future updates as I tried the manual updates posted for dotnet and cu for .804 and they installed fine but after reboot still showing on winver 19043.782

p.s. both of todays updates show as successfully installed in windows update history

19042.804 (20H2) is running fine. No issues at all.
Only my Logitech Unifiyer receiver is not working since last update.

Over-simplified Windows 10 development is like shampoo:

    1 Release preview update
    2 Collect feedback
    3 Prioritize bugs
    4 If bugs=critical then release out-of-band update
    5 Fix non-critical bugs
    6 Release patch-tuesday update
    7 Goto 1

    Lather, rinse, repeat...:D

That's the nature of software development, fix bugs and improve. But no software will ever be 100% bug/glitch free!

Never will indeed, unlike in the past, where they could not afford mistakes, since there was no internet. Once released it was over, these days they are like, just release it and fix it later.

Lately the known bugs list has been increasing rather than decreasing.I recently updated a PC to the latest stable build and out of nowhere my power options disappeared... Bugs could easily be resolved if more effort was put into then rather then pushing one to keep the update numbers high.
