.906 is working fine here. But I think that the release of .867, .868, .870, .899, and .906 is an indicator that something has been wrong with Windows 10 development this month. I don't know if it's due to drinking, or Covid-19, or drugs, or whatever.

That is sort of like saying that MSFTs left hand doesn't know what its right hand is doing. Technically, MSFT doesn't have rings anymore: They are called channels. The channels are separate, but the releases are related through the 19041, 19042, 19043 release lineage. I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with your post. Anybody can acquire any of those updates and apply them to the 19041 release lineage.
New updates: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-616#post-1652562 ps, now i get the last dotnetcu preview (KB4601554) offered on my 19043.906 beta channel system WU.
I am on 19043.867 and only get KB4601554 when scanning with WUMT. There is no CU preview offered. EDIT: I am wondering if the CU preview is offered only to 19041 and 19042 and not to 19043 at this stage. The same update is still available for manual install from the catalog obviously.
The beta channel system already was on .906.1.13, it's enrolled in the beta channel and now got the dotnetcu offered, probably no relation to .906 else it was offered when it installed .906. Dunno why My retail channel system installed .906.1.13 fine, now at 19042.906.
