My notbeook which initially had upgrade issues from 1909 to 20h1 (but somehow succeeded on retires) now has user login errors with anything above the .21 CU (including the current .113, both with simple CU update though WU, manual DISM or in-place upgrade with integrated UUP->ISO) but has zero issues upgrading (with UUP->ISO) to 19569.1000 (but I rolled it back to 20H1 after the test upgrade). So I think this "vibranium" is simply a volatile release which is a little sarcastic given how this is the first build to have ~12 rather than ~6 months cycle in a long time (and a fairly long time has passed since the .1 build to fix these initual issues with CUs). May be next Tuesday...

I am on .84 and as I haven't been offered the update to .113, I manually downloaded the cab file with CU - how can I install it? It asks me what program to use, when I double click :)

EDIT: managed to find the following to install it:

    Code:
    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:"<PUT-CAB-FILE-PATH-HERE>"

    :)

    hello everyone,

I am trying to understand about Insider previews culminating to the RTM.

When RTM will be officially announced, is it going to be a CU over base build or complete new build?

    in a simple & straightforward answer= YES.

Also, by now You must understand that MS ditched that so-called (or earlier called) RTM concept long ago, so now, better define the RTM of any NEW BRANCH ISO as GA (General Availability) after passing all the test ring rigorously for a couple of months.

If you only have a single CAB (or multiple CAB files but you wish to install them all) it's enough to point it to the directory. It will give an error for non-applicable files (like DU) but continue with the rest.
    /PackagePath:c:\Users\misieeq\downloads
Otherwise you can point it to a file, even on the network:
    /PackagePath:\\HomeServer\data\windows10.0-kb4540409-x64.cab

19041 build is the final build number. But newer cumulative update will decide the exact RTM build pushed to the masses early next month.

I am finding 19041.113 to be amazingly stable since a week of testing. No random crashes or funny businesses going on.
