RS3 brings WDDM 2.3 and I think DXGI 1.7 support, but does anyone actually know what is new in WDDM 2.3 and DXGI 1.7?
Sssh. Do not say that. Now you'll have a bunch of people 2 page after this post, asking where they can download the ISO. lol
trying to install enterprise from 16299.15.170928-1534.RS3_RELEASE_CLIENTCOMBINED_UUP_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO using the same unattend answer file ive always been using since win10 gold. 16299.15 complains about productkey (using RTM key) "Windows cannot read the <productkey> setting from the unattend answer file" rs2\setup.exe /unattend:answerfile makes no complaints 16299.15 manual setup.exe then entering the key manually also works fine. any idea whats up?
Microsoft employees are too lazy to review their "IS THIS READY FOR RELEASE?" checklist. If 16299 is indeed RTM this is possibly the most amateurish RTM release ever.
Installed FCU... still some glaring bugs. the notification center keeps showing the same notifications again and again despite clearing them...The transparency in the notfification center is bonkers as well... onedrive files on demand is not available like some others had reported.. some apps in the start screen show a big downloading arrow...basically there is a lot of refining required.
This build has been a very good WU update from the last one (b16299) Everything I've tested is working, incl. Paint & Store (see attached), Store even gave me a updated Photoastic. Spoiler
Hello again. I succeeded to build the iso, thanks so much. After that I have updated to 16299.15 Unfortunately the multiple RDP session is not working anymore. Since the first build of win10, I am using the modified termsrv.dll from this forum and it worked like a charm. I have found also RDP Wrapper Library v1.6.1 but looks like doesn't support this version of windows. Any suggestion to fix this issue would be very helpful. Many thanks in advance!
Not if the original designation is labeled "experimental". Ever since RS2, MS decided general PC home users to decide if current version is good enough. When it is good enough {6-10 months after release...), it becomes "ready for business deployment". They have nor even polished RS3 and RS4 is already being pushed to insiders.
