Possibility Windows Store app might get corrupted updating to this build, if so do this: Right click PowerShell (Admin), Enter the following script in the window and hit Enter, Finished and Restart: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Same issue with store for me. Totally messed up. Did a store reset before seeing this, ran the posted script anyhow and it fixed it. Store is back, never use it though.
Using USB method that has ALWAYS worked as expected in the past... I made combined aio iso as a test, using s1ave77s S-M-R-T M50 UUPDL v0.12.57 to fetch files then creating a bootable USB device and an old school DVD disk to use for a clean installation when or if USB device fails. I couldn't get past the keyboard layout screen again... so I will try & use DVD for my clean install Edit 1 I'm going to wipe the partition with GParted from Parted Magic on a USB device. Then see if anything changes Edit 2 No change using the USB Device trying the DVD now DVD does not work past the keyboard layout as well after choosing English, this is weird... Options are continue to Windows 10 LTSB, Turn off PC, Use another Operating system, Troubleshoot... Going to LTSB = Something Happened : ( Edit 3 OK after several reboots and 2 shutdowns it came back (LTSB) going to format the partition that will house 17110 from here unticking the quick option and see if any changes... @45% Edit 4 Formatted two usbs 1 ntfs 1 Fat32 re-downloaded the files via uup dump MasterServer this time just going to extract the iso to the Fat32 formatted device and try again. Decided to just say no to clean install of 17110. Sooooooooo with the same USB device using Rufus (to prove a point to myself) formatted to NTFS using MBR Partition scheme for Bios or UEFI with iso 17083. It is a Data Traveler 3.0 16GB USB device. Worked as expected. I will upgrade instead of the the clean installation until unblocked or whatever...
