Microsoft is investigating Windows Update settings. It seems people who were never on "Skip-Ahead" are getting 17604. Not suppose to happen.
Upgraded Ok, but a couple of old programs (utils) have now stopped working....setting on compatibility settings doesn't work and is useless.
Upgraded from 17093 last night to 17101 with no problems. This morning found it was updating automatically to 17604. Let it do its thing and updated fine, and now running well with no problems. No use intervention at all times apart from telling it to reboot. I have to say, that none of the recent 17xxx builds have presented me with any problems at all either upgrading or clean installs. I am using a pretty new Asus X299 board (Apex VI) using and booting from NVMe M2 drives. Perhaps Microsoft and X299 chipsets have begun to have things sorted out...... Maybe.......
Works great, The best build yet! Edge is also great. Fast, smooth , no issues at all (don't know about clean install).
the bug with audio that suddenly stop working after few minutes of PC inactivity is still not fixed in this build -.-
EDGE Extensions still seem to have "issues" (I've only tried LastPass & Internet Download Manager) On a Clean install - it says the extensions installed Ok, then I get a message saying there's a problem, and the extensions had to be re-installed and need setting up again Also when checking for more extensions, it says "we can't suggest extensions at he moment please try later
I have a problem with Microsoft Store. It is broken and won't load. It tells me, Are you switching APPS to Feedback HUB? Doesn't matter whether I hit the refresh button or continue button. It still will not load..
