Precisely this was the bug I was talking about in this comment: Only happened when the build is just installed but, as I said in that comment, it's easily solved simply by clicking once on the "Details" tab.
clean install and now it's sleep, will try tomorrow, thank you Enthousiast as usual, you're fast as the lightning
Two small changes in "Personalization". The option to choose between the light and dark mode in "Colors" is now on the top: Spoiler And they added this in the toggle that has to do with the Jumplist in "Start":
I was forced to uninstall Trend Micro Worry Free Business endpoint protection before install can start. Hmm.
Could you believe it is now I am downloading mine? I beleive previous Build, nonetheless, was also stable.
is not recommended to use third party Security apps with Insider Preview Builds, becase if the apps are not upated to support the new kernel/driver changes, then it will cause BSOD/GSOD, and probably thats why Windows uninstalled the app automatically to avoid that.
hi guys, anyone having issues with M4B files? After upgrading to build 18267 (from 18262), all of a sudden, file explorer freezes when opening a folder with M4B file (350+ MB, audiobook file). I mean, I'm not sure if the issue have anything to do with build 18267. I have few hundred M4B files (from 20 MB to 500 MB) in a large folder, and never ever had this issue before yesterday. And now, even with just one M4B file inside a folder, it says "working on it" and then file explorer just freezes (have to kill explorer.exe in task manager), I can't rename or copy or move the file. It's happening with any M4B file. Though I was able to move these files via PowerShell.
I can't comment on M4B files, but since upgrading to 18267 I am having problems with explorer freezing when I open a folder that has video files in it. Seems to be mp4 files that are affected. As you said, I cannot rename, copy or move the files. What an aggravation.
I have the same problem with MP4 files not playing on a Dell laptop and the freezing issue on an older desktop. I have gone back to build 18262 which works fine with video.
Another buggy POS build. Random programs like notepad and Powershell are freezing. So I don't even know from where to start with the feedback.
My install works good on the newer self-built desktop PC, the MP4 videos play fine, renaming screenshots in Explorer (Screenshots) folder works fine too. I did get a GSoD at the dual boot menu when I hit enter very quickly but it has - got well now/today, I did take some photos though for future reference.
