    This build still requires the fix to work in VMware.

    Code:
    cpuid.brandstring = "Windows 10 Insider Preview VMware Fix"
    cpuid.1.ecx = "0--------------0----------------"
    cpuid.1.edx = "-----------0---------0----------"
    monitor_control.enable_fullcpuid = "TRUE"

    At this point it will be just bug fixes, nothing new.

    Windows defender runs in the background even if disabled in the group policy...

    Its because it uses unnecessary background CPU usage EVEN when we disable the real time shield. Is there anyway to disable it now that even registry method isnt working?

    What were the results of their test? I have Defender turned off, but with it on I see the same transfer speeds across my network and I generally always see ~110-115MB/s transfers across my network.

    thats BS disabling defender will not speed file transfer....network speed has to do with HW...what router and network card your using.

    I think the bigger issue here is that when you use GPO to disable Defender, it should be disabled, even in an insider preview.
