Oh no, I did not check it at the moment of posting I only downloaded MediaCreationTool1903_exe.gvpqqk5.partial so I guess it's not working...
No need to debate. The UUP files will be 99.9% same as eventual full ESD release, with only minor difference. Me, I want to wait because of some bad experience last year with app permissions that was okay only with full ESD.
Please, the content of the install by ESD>ISO converted ISO or UUP>ISO converted ISO, is exactly the same. The "RTM" ESD's won't shouldn't/never did contain another build, or pre-integrated updates. Edited with a little precaution, msft did a few weird things before
Precisely my point. It should be the same in theory and I believe it should be ok. My bad experience last year, perhaps MS tweaked the build toolchain to fix a small error on release. I wasted half a day to troubleshoot that time, and now I will wait.
That was probably fixed by a CU at that time. If they changed anything inside, it would have been another buildnr. The current UUP file set, 18362.1 will be used when WU does offer the build for all users, and the SSU/CU will be released separately.
Respect. No debate. My experience two builds ago, with Enterprise. Niche case. So I wait. But I believe 99.99% should make no difference.
The only difference between the two iso's is, the black setup background and the boot.wim from the UUP>ISO converted ISO is artificially created from the winre.wim. Content of the install.wim is the exact same, what you suggest would mean that upgrades by WU will have different settings/files compared to ESD>ISO or MVS/VLSC iso's.
You know what? I get that and I was not trying to debate just replying to cuteee. But what happened two builds ago mean that to be careful for production unit I will wait a few days, but in private server of course have 18362 running already.
Installed the build today by downloading the UUP, making the ISO, and converting it into Enterprise. Surely looks like RTM material. So far so good. Got the .53 cumulative update as well.
I think no new .CU today or ESD*. Which timezone they've using? (I think they are in Redmond, right?) * Yeah, I know ESD is the same thing as UUP. I already installed. I just said it for confirming.
