This build refuses to install on my PC ... it is noted on change-log that there is some bug with storage driver which causes the upgrade to fail (even when using an ISO), I have Samsung 970 EVO plus NVME, tried removing samsung nvme driver but still a no go ... maybe a clean install will work .

The same for my NVME EVO 960 and MS have informed that error 1900101 happens due to problems with some storage devices drivers. Seems some NVMEs. My old Thinkpad R500 with SATA SSD have upgraded without problems.

    Known Issues
    • A limited number Insiders attempting to install Build 18936 may experience install failures with error code c1900101 due to a compatibility bug with a storage driver on their device. The device will attempt to install, fail, and successfully roll back to the currently installed build on the device. Attempted re-tries to install the build, either manual or automatic, will not bypass this issue. A fix is forthcoming, but there are no known workarounds currently. Note: By default, the update will attempt to install (3) times. Users may pause updates if they experience this issue and want to bypass the re-try attempts.

Manual install worked fine for me I don't know what the issue is trying to install via WU.

When it's past downloading, it's not WU doing the job anymore.

Its a strange bug manual install should have also roll back but it only fails when to try to update it via WU:confused:
