I was on v1909 when I updated and it went back to 1903. Is it supposed to go up to another number like 20...something once it hits the RTM or so?

These builds have nothing to do with 1903/1909 aka 19H1/19H2, these are 20H1, previews of the next major new build, msft just never bothered to change it in winver/reg.

Initially it did error out, but after a few minutes all packages became available, and the script proceeded without error.

Goodmorning everyone. This is my first post here and I hope the last one.
So, a genious friend of mine, who was on 1903 and could not wait for wu to get him to 1909, entered the insider program, made the update and exited the insider, so now he is on 1903 build 19025.1! Can he somehow get to 1909 now?

    roll back if possible.
and not enter the insider program.
and wait for the update to appear in the windows update.

If you can’t roll back, now it’s only a clean installation of 1909.

    Build 19025.1 is 2003, not 1903.
