Getting error 0x80073712 on updating 19041.153 to 1941.172 on my PC ... my laptop was fine tho Tried deleting "services" something in "C:SoftwareDistribution" and tried to do a refresh install without losing data but but the setup said something like "updates are installed but windows set up need to restart bla bla bla.... and close... Any ideas..??
The words "tried something..." doesn't really explain what you tried. To be able to delete "c:\windows\softwaredistribution" folder run: Code: net stop wuauserv Delete "c:\windows\softwaredistribution" folder, reboot and retry.
Probably you have to download Notepad's FOD CAB file from UUP Dump and install it using DISM. Edit: And also check your WordPad and Paint as well.

And what about me who clean installed but it still was buggy and not working right. Couldn't disable web search and for whatever reason when I would open services in control panel it would sometimes display the services names as they appear in regedit instead of normal names. Weird build
did u d\l a fresh copy from here 19041.1 and reformatted your USB drive using rufus? and then upgrade CUs
Yes sir same weird issue where web search doesnt disable and also another weird thing is cleartype tuner doesnt save choices 4 and 5
