H'mm for my 10 year old computer, upgrades are becoming longer, this one took 4 hours to download and install....I know what members will say "do a clean install", but I have so much stuff on this drive it would take days to re-install
@ excalibur2 My wife has a 2007 Toshiba "Satellite" which she uses lightly. Increasing the RAM to 8 GB and replacing the HDD to SSD transformed the laptop, which also reflected on my life. P.S. Some SSD's come with migrating tools so that you maintain your previous setup and keep your data.
All of a sudden I was able to complete install from windows update and I haven't done anything else than keep trying to install from Windows update or selfmade iso. Exactly the same thing happened on my work computer, go figure.
