    I didn't bother trying to run sc stop windefend as system with a booster program.
    Still the ability to just uncheck the box in autoruns kinda means that they left a security loophole.
    I can imagine it's as simple as changing a reg key. Only need admin with autoruns.
    I suppose we can thank those ransomware people for this lastest annoyance.

    Why do I have to do both? I was on 18362.53 and only did the SSU(the small size .cab) and it upgraded to 18362.86

    Now To Add The CU Update
    1. Download according to your OS architecture (x86/x64)
    2. Rename it as KB4497093.cab
    3. Copy to 'C' drive
    4. Run CMD as ADMIN
    5. Use the following DISM command to install
    DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:c:\KB4497093.cab
    6. After done, press Y to Reboot the PC.

    Now Press The Windows Button On Your Keyboard + R a Box Opens Type winver hit enter
    a box appears on your screen & Your OS should be version 1903 (OS Build 18362.86)

    The ssu won't update the delta build nr, it's windows10.0-kb4498524-x64_SSU_18362.80.1.0.cab build.

    The CU = Windows10.0-KB4497093-x64_CU_18362.86.1.8.cab
