1: Downloaded the iso using mediacreation tool 2:Then used rufus and created a flashdrive 3: booted into the flash drive to the windows setup 4: Deleted the old windows,recovery and EFI partitions 5: Proceeded to install in the unallocated space(allowing setup to create partitions automatically 6: after installation system rebooted into windows. 7: I ran the reg file to show windows version on desktop
Why? The info is just not updated in the file that contains the insider preview line, just don't run the reg file or live with the insider preview line till msft fixes it.

Does anyone know the difference between the IoT LTSC and the non LTSC version? Does it still have the same good things (uninstallable edge, no disk allocation...) but keeping bleeding edge updates?

For devices with a Snapdragon X Series processor( usualy pre-intslled), just in case...still need to use "Win_11_Boot_And_Upgrade_FiX_KiT_v5.1" on the image befor install?
If the device doesn't have the needed TPM2.0 and secureboot and supported CPU and such, then yes, it will probably be needed. I don't have a ARM64 device. Maybe VMware can be used for testing now with the new ARM64 ISOs. Nope, no arm64 to select
finally, manually installed 24h2 on my HP G10 notebook, seems a stable OS by now. permanently activated.
