thank you the update to 26100.2 seems to have reset a lot of settings and changed a lot of stuff (despite the fact that i chose to keep those.
Sorry for the late replay.I will try to explain what is the problem here.First of all i'm on canary channel and on windows update i'm stuck on that version:26058.1000(ge_release).When i try to update to that version from windows update it installs an 100%,then reboots and start to install the update. After 3 reboots when it reaches 67% i think it reboots again and stuck looping on windows logo.I try that 5 times and the result is always the same.I think that problem is related with drivers, but i'm not sure.So my idea is how to do that update, because i don't want to delete and install windows again. Thanks for helping me!
Installing 26058 beta version - automatically implies your agreement with possible problems and possible reinstallation. Also beta versions contains timebomb. If you want to install windows not for tests, but for work and home use - choose normal release windows version.
I downloaded the Windows 11, version 24H2 (26100.2) from uupdump and then I customize it with Ntlite but after creating the ISO and ran the setup.exe its giving me the secure boot error that is not enabled even I have the aveyo script applied , regitry and ntlite option to bypass , any advise or tweaks ? Thanks
26100.2 is marked as svc_oem, meaning it's RTM and will be pre-installed on devices. Can pretty much be sure 26100 is the official branch and 26200+ will be beta/dev/canary. I'd go ahead and recommend installing LTSC 26100.2 if anyone is tired of the 3 year wait. I noticed a new package, SuperfetchLite. I can't find any information on it. I wonder what exactly makes it "lite." On calcs, surprisingly the calc pulled straight from Windows 95 still runs flawlessly. I typically use CalcPlus from Microsoft for WinXP and switch it to classic GUI, it's fully featured and lightweight.
I have been running 26100.X on a ReFS formatted OS partition. There have been no issues besides the hurdles with OneDrive and System Restore. I also moved my wife's computer, and she has been gaming for over 40 hours on it without any issues. The only problem we have encountered has been with HDR enabled, causing alt+tab between a primary monitor and a secondary monitor, making both displays go black for five seconds. It doesn't matter if you run games in borderless windowed, or fullscreen. Rather annoying, both displays are running in HDR mode and are the same model (AW3423DW). I tried various things like disabling G-Sync, VRR in Windows, etc. Both all seem linked to running with HDR enabled in Windows; upon disabling HDR in Windows, you can alt+tab between the monitors while gaming in both borderless windowed and fullscreen without the displays going black for about five seconds. This doesn't seem isolated to 26100. I tested the same on 22631, and it behaves the same. I haven't been running with HDR enabled in Windows until now. I started doing it to utilise the nice NVIDIA HDR feature, redoing videos in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome from SDR to HDR, and it works great. But I ended up disabling HDR as no efficient alt+tabbing is too annoying.
Im on 26100.2 and Copilot stopped working. Is it working for you guys? Edit: Nvm. Fixed by clearing Edge's cookies and cache.
Yep, further proof this is the final 26100.1 24H2 that can be safely loaded to your main PC with now updates coming thru. A word of warning with this update. On my system the loading was SLOW. When I say slow I mean 20 minutes stuck at 73% installing, and over 40 minutes for the update to fully apply. Dont panick if nothing happens for a while, get a cup of tea, or stiff drink and come back in 1/2 hour.
Once installed, 26100 now is receiving updates without being enrolled into any IP channels, so i assume this can be considered public. I have started the Windows 11 Windows 11 (IoT) Enterprise (N) LTSC 2024 (24H2 / 26100 ge_release) thread too: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ise-iot-enterprise-n-ltsc-2024-26100-x.88280/
