I have reinstalled a system with 2 monitors and only run windows update, otherwise I have not changed anything on the system. When it goes into power saving mode and is woken up again, one monitor remains off. If I turn the monitor off and on again, it works. Does anyone know a solution to fix this? I didn't have the problem with 23H2 22631.4460. System: PC Fujitsu Esprimo P720 OS Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 26100.2314 CPU I3-4130 HD Graphics 4400 2 Monitor EIZO S2431W 16Gb DDR3 Ram SSD
you can try unplugging the second monitor, then go into device manager and remove the generic driver thats greyed out ...uninstall the greyed out ones and reboot need to tick show hidden in the view tab if it doesnt work try re install graphics driver, be aware that nvidia still hasnt fixed the wake up from sleep bug, even though it says otherwise
I unplug the second monitor, uninstalled all 5 greyed out generic drivers and restarted. After that the error was not resolved. Then i installed the intel graphics driver 15.40 for windows 10. But the error is still there. Should I try a different driver, which one might work for the Intel HD 4400? Edit: This happens when the monitor turns off, even if the system is not yet in standby. After standby and waking up, it works.
Ok, that's good to know. I can install it using /SkipLicense then. I already checked DolbyLaboratories.DolbyDigitalPlusDecoderOEM.xml, but couldn't find any mention of x64 or x86, so I thought it would have been named in the file name, but it wasn't. How can I spot it in license that it's meant for both x64 and x86?
I dont know what else to suggest, it was just a suggestion, you can try other drivers if you like It could be down to 24h2 ...possibly a wake up/sleep bug still persists for certain monitors , same goes for nvidia drivers |Does your monitor have its own driver ? maybe try that aswel you could turn off this and see how it goes
Not agree..... 24H2 runs smoother than all previous versions despite some little bugs... I reommend clean install instead upgrading from 23H2... just my opinion and experience
He used a bypass method of some kind (or maybe the IoT Enterprise 2024 LTSC, which doesn't require the new win 11 system requirements, didn't check on my old i7 4xxxk, it wasn't available when i still had the old pc in use, will have to dig it up to test), when the bypassing is done properly it will install fine on a i7 4xxx (i ran it on mine without issues).
This is an issue with your BIOS. Your GOP driver is unable to select the correct screen resolution and runs at 800x600. An updated bios (or modded bios with updated GOP driver) might help. Quite common to see this with Windows 7 era PCs with very limited UEFI implementation.
