There are many restrictions to older machines in 24H2. So, it is very possible will be same or more restrictions on a windows new version.
All these win 12 /25 articles are just concepts, i would take it all with a pinch of salt. In other words, click bait.
Hi Enthousiast, Did no one else on MDL have trouble with the 24H2 26100.3613 update? It broke File Explorer for me, and I didn't see any MDL posts about it. Did I miss these posts? Today, there is the 24H2 26100.3624 update. I'm hoping it will fix File Explorer, but in my frustration, I went back to Windows 10. So I may wait awhile before I reinstall Windows 11 and test updates 3624 and beyond. Thanks for posting the 3624 links though...
Since my last post to you, I'm hearing that MS uses VMs for software testing now. That would make sense, because it would get highly expensive to test on all the different hardware platforms. But some hardware might not be as friendly to new updates as other hardware. Thanks for responding.
Stardock Windowblinds is not compatible with the most recent Windows 11 updates. When Windowblinds is running, it blocks File Explorer from displaying folders in the Navigation Pane. It also blocks the opening of folders on the Desktop. The solution is to uninstall Stardock Windowblinds. File Explorer works perfectly without Windowblinds running.
Hi, you don't happen to have the English version, or Spanish? This is functional and can receive updates? security and critical system updates. I mean, does it work out of the box? Or do you have to juggle patches and stuff before you can use it? As usable as the isos on os.click website? Sorry for my lack of knowledge, I am trying to find the latest version of Win11 24H2 Iot LTSC. Sorry for entering the forum in this way and my ignorance, if someone is willing to help I would appreciate it.
For LTSC, MS has never released refreshed ISO, only initial version 26100.1 and official version 26100.1742
