At this way, maybe in 2026, the Updates will be 8 GB while Win11 ISO (with ESD inside) is only 5 GB... Microsoft being Microsoft Why so big?? Because they must force all the bloatware, spyware and bugs; so when people complain about it, Microsoft will say: "Don't worry, there are plenty of new features because we think and care about your wellness and happiness". Have you ever eat those disgusting sandwich that has all the creams, salad, and even rat sh1t??? Well, that exactly is Windows right now
26100.4061 only changes I know is drive status bar are darker blue and install or copy status is darker green looks neat and context menu has send to phone
How in hell can I safely remove "Click to do" app ? Thank you beforehand Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsAI] "AllowRecallEnablement"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsCopilot] "TurnOffWindowsCopilot"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsCopilot] "TurnOffWindowsCopilot"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge] "HubsSidebarEnabled"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer] "DisableSearchBoxSuggestions"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer] "DisableSearchBoxSuggestions"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsAI] "DisableAIDataAnalysis"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsAI] "DisableAIDataAnalysis"=dword:00000001 This is not enough...
Recently created an updated ISO (from 26100.1 OEM ISO) with IoT Enterprise LTSC SKU and even with WIM compression it was only just under 6GB (original ISO was 4.2GB) I'm guessing even with regular consumer SKUs the difference will just be around ~400-500mb at maximum.
Microsoft Print to PDF missing in Windows 11 24H2_26100.3915 & 26100.4061_uupdump Created ISO, fresh installation system it shows as enabled, but the printer itself doesn't show in the devices & printers error code: 0x800F0922 when re-enabled Anyone encountered the same problem?
I don't even no why its been added to my machine, i don't have a dedicated npu, the app is dead with a none supported device pop up I guess it was to hard for microsoft to add a tiny check script which would disable/hide the app for non npu systems
I'm 100% agree with you, and I think that IoT versions SHOULD NOT receive such bulls**ts like Copilot and ClickToDo, Even Recall is an abortion for IoT systems and scenarios. Nothing beneficial at all. And another M$ abomination is an update with 4GB full of garbage, they can't even correct the offline updates, forcing us to have the last update, plus the checkpoint update (26100.1742.1.10) too. Waste of free space, and bad image in the end... Code: Dism.exe /online /remove-package /packagename:Package_for_RollupFix~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~26100.1742.1.10 Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore Maybe this can reduce a bit the mess, I don't know if it will help in every scenario...
The latest cumulative update KB5058411 was successfully installed on the original clean image 26100.1.240331-1435.ge-release-client-iot-ltsc-eval-a-64-fre-en-us without requiring a baseline KB5043080 (OS Build 26100.1742)
