update having the same KB number and revision number usually means it's the same 26120.5722 / 26200.5722
This Ai copilot mode for the browser is pretty neat, i dont know if its limited to insiders or not but its cool.
Building a new PC. Which ISO should I download for the latest Windows 11 Pro with all the latest updates?
Usually the latest = July updated: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1884582 Or download the 26100.1742.1.10 MVS ISO + the updates and update it yourself.
I tested the DEV (26200.xxxx) for about an hour and there was "no difference" with the 24h2, it could almost be an OS for h24 Afterwards, the "base" is the same (26100.1 and the updates)
say, 1st win 11 install and looking for a recommendation.. is the consumer vs business or anything like that of importance ?? thinking 11 pro would be the version recommended ?? does this seem correct ?? familiar with MAS and others... just since 11 is new to me, looking to make the right install... thanks for your time...
Consumer contains all versions except Enterprise and Business contains all versions except Home and it is volume but that doesn't really matter. Version depends on your needs, i personally prefer education or enterprise. Pro is a glorified Home these days.
Beta and dev incoming says Phantom, Mr Enthusiast. Don't know what time it will be 26200.5742/26120.5742
Bout time they got rid of that huge ugly starmenu, this slim one is way better Yea ...scrap what i wrote, it returned to the big fat one after a few reboots Yep its bugged... doesn't know what size to use
Try playing a game on the ne DEV pr Beta build. The game either crashes because they broke dwm or it stutters like crazy.
am using 26200.xxx as main and everything works , playing sniper elite 6 single and multy and axsis - working,no bugs,no crash
I just have a resizing bug, unless i use native 4k ...anything thats open when playing games resizes to large windows, including the startmenu Seems to be getting worse per CU update with no fix insight. Desktop is 4k, i play games at 1080p I would gladly welcome the older bug where it would snap open windows to the arrangements that are available These apps are running in background, but happens in foreground aswell The people who have this issue should report so they can work on a fix
Start Menu is still small here on 26200.5742 after several reboots. I quite liked the big fat one. I noticed that on 27" 4K with 150 or 200% scaling, it was showing the big menu. But if I used remote desktop to login to the PC with smaller resolution, it was using the smaller version of 24H2. But now it's smaller version all the time.
[NEW] For Insiders with the new Start menu, the layout may temporarily show a smaller Start menu (ex. 6 columns of pinned apps instead of 8). This issue will be resolved shortly, and the larger layout will be restored.
With the 25h2, it seems that the address and search bar are "wider" compared to the 24h2 Is it possible to return to the 24h2 size with Vivetool (or something else) ? Thanks
