Let's see when the ISO is finished Can't be that msft can force people 100% to use online accounts, probably on Home (SL) and glorified Home aka Pro only
True and I hope they haven't completely removed all the commands to be able to use a local account. But we will find out fingers crossed.
Is just Home version that's affected or Pro as well (or just consumer ISO...or business ISOs too), or all of them, Enterprise included?
Ok. Thanks a ton for your reply. But hypothetically when it DOES come out as retail after even a year, will it update through windows update, or will it be considered as a feature update and different version, and would have to be upgraded through ISO??
How do you bring Command prompt during W11 installation (Shift f10), correct? Can one setup a local account by putting in the email address of [email protected] a few times? People claim that worked in the past. Off topic...How did you manage to have sharp edges in W11? Also, you guys know how on W10 you can pin as many weather forecasts (live tiles) on the start menu as you want? Is that possible on W11?
Hey I've been trying to create this list myself using the RSS product feed for windows updates I assume these are all the latest updates for the different types like LCU, DU, OOBE etc however for the oobe one I see two listed here and I can't seem to figure out which updates depend on which as only some updates I found yesterday mentioned they have been superseeded (not regarding ones listed here)
OOBE updates are only offered during the OOBE stage, MSFT never publishes them on catalog, people catch the link when it is offered and others let the update download and create the link based on filename and sha1,
That's because it's installed on a virtual machine. If you want to force it to stay rounded: Code: Reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm" /v "ForceEffectMode" /t REG_DWORD /d "2" /f
