As you might have noticed, on Thursdays following Patch Tuesday, the Media Creation Tool usually lets you download the latest build with the fresh Patch Tuesday LCU already integrated. However, right now it is downloading build 26200.8653 for some reason. As a result, the subsequent 26200.8655 update naturally forces its way through and downloads during the OOBE screen setup.

 

Since the last update, are you seeing strange filenames in the Recycle Bin (like $IHZBPFJ) when you delete a file ?
If you delete a file, then right-click on the Recycle Bin and select "Empty Recycle Bin", in the popup, this is the kind of name that appears (the correct filename when the Recycle Bin is opened)

So has anyone worked out a way to have the menu back to what it was before 8655 is installed?

so this removes the new icon layout but the menu size is still large...
