I was just thinking about week ago how windows 10 become old system and that needs to be more updated like a totally new windows. And after couple of days these news emerged. I dont know why they stuck with name 'windows 10'. They need to move to, let me say, windows 20
Hopefully it's really a big, proper update, not just cloud version of 10 with new UI glued on top of old Win10.
I have a feeling we'll begin seeing some "intentional leaks" coming from Microsoft itself in the next few days and weeks.
It's like back in the good old days, waiting for leaks and getting excited of them Ah, the old Vista/7/8/10 waiting times... times when Windows was actually changing.
They didn't bump anything, at the most the files are prepared for another EP (or by FxPs), for future use.
I doubt that you are going to like windows in the cloud when that arrives, atm all current "improvements" seem to be aimed at the UI, not a "new" windows.
Maybe future Windows is just said "Windows" Numbers more like Samsung whose jump from S10 to S20 because currently at new decade of 2020s
There's this tech journalist, Zac Bowden, who seems to have access to inside info we don't have. He said MS is working on a lot more than UI changes. But now the cat is out of the bag, at least partially. Being confirmed officially by Microsoft's CEO himself.
