Could it be that under settings>system>notifications>additional settings (expandable at bottom) those nagging options were still left checked? Stuff like occasionally show welcome experience, get the most out of windows, etc.
Your tip got me to look under "Additional settings" and I discovered those boxes were checked. I unchecked them and powered down the machine. Let's see if the same issue described in #5175 appears after the June 2023 updates are applied to the device.
New widgets picker got enabled today, also the dashboard freeze seems to have gone Oop...freeze still there lol
Just noticed they giving us 5gb instead of 1gb but theyve not updated in settings Not sure if its beta/dev specific preview, im just assuming its a preview for testers
How can I remove all the apps in recommendations in Start menu (like documents, pictures) in one click ? BTW, In build 22621.1702 I could move Task manager with its search box, but in 1778 it disabled. Do you have the same issue ?
that could of been a bug, clicking search box should only have typing capabilities ...click anywhere else on the top bar should move it
windows 11 is faster with an MS account tricking in to logging in on local account it lags a bit trust me I install fresh both ways 4 times. And by all means hanging in there on 22621.1702 to see what crazy updates nonpublic releases caused.Cannot understand a loads of Win 11 builds dev/canary/ and insiders yi o yi
i though the same thing, but after a few hours being idle this update is giving me delays on opening explorer and about menu in settings. Was no issues at first Has started using more ram also I smell memory leak
