So far I'm fine. (installed on VHD disk on my second SSD drive) new privacy stuff to remove a new terminal option
That option to use Windows Terminal has been around for a long time. 6 months? 12 months? Quite a while. Maybe because I always install Windows Terminal Preview. It's one of the things I miss when I'm playing with Windows 10.
Can someone explain me a little bit, is this win11 version updating itself no problem or should we watch here to manually install the updates, and also, which version to chose, i'm looking for equivalent of LTSB, thanks
Yes windows update automatically but these update for those like to manually update before windows update with preview and beta also the best version i saw windows Education edition after the LTSB
You don't need to check here for updates. Windows updates itself automatically. The updates listed here are for people who wish to update manually, perhaps offline right after a fresh install or if they are encountering any issue with the automatic Windows updates. As for an equivalent to Windows LTSB, there is no Windows 11 equivalent, even Windows 11 Education or Enterprise is heavy and bloated compared to Windows 10 which is much snappeir with less bloatware. From my experience, if you want the lightest Windows with support for modern hardware, just install Windows 10 Education latest build, disable telemetry and whatnot and prevent it from updating to Windows 11 using this tweak: Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate] "TargetReleaseVersion"=dword:00000001 "TargetReleaseVersionInfo"="25H2"
OK, but that helps me in nothing. I build newest 22624 from uupdump. Install it on my PC. Login to my Microsoft Account. How will behave Windows Update and Store?
You 1st need to be part of the Insider Program, then join the Beta_Channel to get updates thru Windows Update.
Dang, i went to check if my powerplan was stuck on ultra performance as its realy responsive compared to previous CU, set it to ultra and jeez, love this build. Hope we get a fix for security health
