MSFT Internal Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.71 (co_release) has been released so saids adguard from twitter
Did he post links or just another "Internal" announcement, which is useless. EDIT, just the announcement.
New update feature in Windows 11? Last night I did a clean install of Windows 11 22000.51 At the end of the installation or OOBE, it automatically updated to 22000.65 without my interaction. There was a dialog screen telling me what was happening but I had no choice. By the way this was on an unsupported, home built, I7-4790K system. The upgrade went fine and works perfectly. Is this a new thing with Windows 11? I have never seen Windows 10 do this. I've always had to run Windows update after a clean install.
internal announcement not sure if it will get released today someone can check there update if its there yet
Windows updates itself as soon as it wants, at the OOBE it looks for updates but doesn't actually install any, on all my 22000.51 test installs since 22000.65 was released i had to run windows update to have the new update(s) installed.
Q: Why is Windows 11 Enterprise now putting links to third-party apps on the start menu? (Netflix, Spotify, Instagram, PicsArt, etc...)? Isn't this something specific to Home and Pro?
But that is exactly what it did. It looked for updates and it installed them automatically before I was presented with a desktop to interact with. That is new behavior.
Yea he is on a roll. Probably wouldn't recognize a "real" OS if it reached up and smacked him in the face!
The weird thing is that it checks twice for updates, the first time was present from the start but nothing got updated, now it checks the second time and it updates the entire OS now. Full GiF is being created as we speak
I find it strange that they are finally doing what was always implied but never actually happened with installations of Windows. But I guess in the end it is a good thing to get systems patched ASAP. Your confirmation is fantastic, good work!
Obviously that with installs and connected to the web. I always install disconnected, habit of every install from the good ol days.
In the past (win 8+) only an occasional OOBE update (to improve the oobe experience) was installed during OOBE, even 22000.51 didn't behave this way in my previous tests (to see if all updated without dev channel enrollment or fixes), this time was the very first time it downloaded and installed the latest SSU/LCU during the OOBE stage. NDP48 and Defender are not updated during OOBE.
dear Time will let you know that who will be smacked up on the face in real. you are under keen observation so wait n watch.
