[DISCUSSION] Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.xxx (PC) [FAST/Dev Channel - co_release]

Keyboard shortcuts no longer work on the menu that pops up when you right-click the Start button (or press Windows+X).
It is very annoying, because for the past few years, I have been opening the Settings app by pressing Win+X and then N.

 

not agreed as since windows 1.0 in 80's everything MS has always been complimentary trial forever with keys or activations or bios slic, so going forward with the minds of the world nothing gonna change

Guys, Im a quite lost about this new version 22000...

I have installed the first version 21996.. how can i Update to the last version? Or I cant?

 

Clean install, all working good. But in dark mode, no shadows on file explorer windows. Is it just me or?

Is there any official ISO? If so, how do I remove TPM and secureboot from official ISO?

 

Does anyone have the link for the KB5004564 cumulative update, to upgrade W11 to 22000.51 (have a fellow who installed 22000.1 and wants to upgrade).

 

1. You need to make your own iso from UUP. That's the only 'official' iso you're going to get that's guaranteed safe. Downloading an iso someone else has made is risky.
2. You need to apply Enthousiast's Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT v1.5 - this will use the iso created in step 1 and create another iso which contains stuff that will bypass the official system requirements.
3. Use the iso created in step 2 to install Windows 11.

if you still have the same old ribbon file explorer , reboot your pc.

If you rebooted and see the same, please go to file explorer > options and uncheck open folders in a separate process

 

Success Finally
I snagged a .ISO by drilling down @ WZor & Rufus it to a flash drive, that install failed like all my previous attempts.
So I copied the .appraiserres.dll file off Win10 b1909 CD to the flash drive (after renaming the Win11 existing to appraiserresOLD.dll
I just ran the setup.exe on the Flash Drive & did a update install, totally stoked.

For those with Hard Floor compatible system requirements and have joined the Insider Preview can install this Build flawlessly. My old device install it from the Windows Update without any hitches.

Why you so happy? when you download ISO you don't know what you have in it.

 

This actually works for me. Right-click on Start Menu or Win + X.
