Hi honey, it worked like a charm but in a different way. I've downloaded the 22000.51 Spanish iso and replaced W11 appraiseres.dll using an iso editor (UltraISO) and this is working fie in my job pc

Unexpectedly, Windows Insider is not working, even in the Release Preview Channel. I've tried bring back with the OffLineEnroller but nothing happens.

I was wondering about if we'll keep receiving updates from Windows Update to 22000.51 until reach the RTM, or if they (microsoft) will let us stucked without support in non supported machines (ths machine barely have secure boot without TPM 2.0)

So to speak the Ivy Bridge(Intel third generation processor) supports hardware virtualization. I really don't know why Microsoft is being given excuses for this unnecessary attempt to force people to buy new devices in this present economic downturn.

This widgets screen being blank is really bugging me. The widgets are there - I can see the cursor changing to a hand, and I can see the tooltips. Clicking launched Edge to the proper content. It just isn't being rendered on-screen in the widgets pane. I've signed in with an M$ account.

is it actually possible to change build number in the kernel level? then just disable windows update entirely to prevent future problem
the win 11 is really nice, but unfortunately some game (anticheat) I play using whitelist for OS version by checking the kernel / something in lower level, so it wont work in dev / insider builds

Their servers are designed to only accept a certain amount of requests for download. I understand the frustration in needing to run the script 20x in a row before it finally runs successfully, but that's on MS. MS are the ones that set that limitation, not uupdump. Insiders are having the same errors. If you look back in the forum here people have posted a few examples of file transfer errors on the windows insider downloads.

Security done in hardware is secure as long as there are no problems with the hardware. For example, all too often an encrypted hard drive goes down, and when it's encrypted (by hardware), it crashes and burns like a plane taking down data passengers with it. When encryption software is deployed, you can usually recover some of the data. I'm not a fan of hardware encryption for a number of reasons.

But my main focus was less about the technical issues of security and more about my impression that MSFT might be dumping responsibility for security on hardware OEMs.

Let's look at another side to the picture:
Phase 1: MSFT provides Windows 10 as a giveaway. Users that leave their PCs on at night, may wake up with Windows 10 on their PCs tomorrow morning! Does that seem secure to you? I saw this as a ridiculous scam to gain market share.

Phase 2: Now that the market share is captured, the next phase is just the opposite: Come up with Windows 11 to force users into buying new hardware just to run a new OS. Again, it's ridiculous.

Security done in hardware is a bad idea. Do you really want to have to be buying new hardware to fight new security threats? I'd rather be able to get new software to fight new threats. It seems more nimble and flexible than hardware. Constantly flashing hardware with new firmware doesn't seem practical.

If you keep thinking M$ is a business, and they are concerned about data collection and app usage more than if you have the latest and greatest hardware, what i see is obvious. They know there will be work arounds that will circumvent their requirements (hey I heard all these worries with Windows 10 release - same ol same ol). The requirements are simply aimed at manufacturers, to bring them on board. M$ will tolerate the eventual work arounds, as its revenue, BUT IN THE PUBLIC RELATIONS GAME, they are going hard to get manufacturers onboard.

More weirdness. I also have an nVIDIA graphics adapter. With that, the widgets screen seems to be fine. I go back to the Intel integrated graphics - the widgets screen is blank. I've gone back and forth several times - I have to shut down each time - but the behaviour seem consistent.
Intel graphics - widgets screen blank, but the widgets are there, invisible.
    Nvidia graphics - no issues.

Some things did not appear in one of the computers.
Navigating to the Device Manager --> Display Adapters --> Properties --> Driver Tab --> Disable Device and Re-enable back again.
Perform the above for each adaptor.

Anyone remember when they accidentally sent this build to the insiders in 2019?

    No, this wasn't Windows 10x

They were working on Windows 11 since 2019

    Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 (co_release) (1)
Last failed install attempt on 02-07-2021 - 0x80240034

Getting this error. The Troubleshooter for Windows Update found nothing wrong in the system.

    Also ran SFC /SCANNOW. Rebooted.

    Still same error.

I posted this workasround several pages back. Doesn't survive a reboot. You have to do it every time you start.

I install 22000.1 and try to update to 22000.51 with no success (got error). And in the laptop I have tpm enabled. So I downloaded and install 22000.51 from uupdump.
