Trying to create build 22000.51 ISO... This time no error when applying KB5004564.. But man now it's in the Saving Image stage.. it's taking veerrry long.
Anyone else notice that Defender and Windows Updates are kind of fragile in Windows 11? I've accidentally killed both a few times removing seemingly unrelated stuff. I also sometimes get a stop error when plugging or unplugging my USB 3 wireless antenna. It works fine if I boot while its plugged in.
Good day mate. Sorry for a stupid question but I'm downloading 22000.51 from UUP. Do i have to use win 11 boot and upgrade fix on this iso in order to install on my non compatible computer and for getting further windows updates? Or this iso is already fixed for all that by Microsoft. Thanks
Open Task Manager and see if anything else is going on. In my case it was the antivirus trying to keep tabs on what the scripts were doing.
Yes, you do need the fix. Microsoft isn't going to fix it, at least, not yet. (And btw. UUP is not ISO - the script will make an ISO for you if you've selected that option, and then the fix will make another ISO that you can use to install or upgrade Windows).
Tried it as well sir and it didn't work at all. haha Thankfully I had a W10 backup so I went back to it. Maybe I'll wait for the official release.
What eemuler said + Microsoft seems to have removed the lock from the Dev Channel on unsupported machines. 2 friends of mine (one of which has an old Conroe Pentium E2160) were able to join the Dev Channel and upgrade to W11 without issues.

Just finished clean installing Enterprise... one of the things I noticed: By default Enterprise doesn't put a Microsoft Edge shortcut on the desktop. But Pro and Pro for Workstations do. Guess Education also behaves the same way as Enterprise.
If you clean install win 11 or upgrade without being in the dev channel, does it still put you in the dev channel automatically?
I did the same. Had an acronis back up of my LTSC. Win 11 loaded well but keeps freezing when i signed into Microsoft account. Also no AMD driver available. Will wait for a Rtm release.
