I have a drive that when you click property there is no disk cleanup button.
And when I delete something from the drive it does not go to the recycle bin.
Where can I get that back from or what is going on with it.
I know that when I delete a file or directory from that drive it looks like it is gone and the size changes but nothing shows up in the recycle bin, but I would like to make sure the file or folder is gone.

    Any help please

This drive is local or external?

So, you altered properties of waste basket into delete immediately for this drive, did you?

I don't know either but check if you find your recycle bin like mine for the drive or checked where my red arrow points to : basket.JPG

red arrow means no disc cleanup available as nothing like garbage will be stored

If you call cleanmgr manually, is your drive in the list of drives to clean?

Also, did you check it for corruption already?

    Paul

All the drives show the same settings.

I am in the process of checking the drive now with seatest.

... same settings? which ones? the red ones or the other ones above with any value to adjust?

Does this machine have a so called tuning software installed? There are some "specialties" which can cause such funny behaviour :D

Classic way: For the whole screen, press the PrtScrn key (besides the Scroll Lock one). This will place the screen shot into the ClipBoard and you can paste it into MSPaint.exe, then save it. To capture the currently active window only, use ALT+PrtScrn.
