    i agree;

    =pc seems to boot okay;
    =this dll cannot be found anywhere.

    extra suggestions; even

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe

    in start/run should get rid of it..

    i rely on winpatrol for this,

    not only can you stop any items in the startmenu,
    but the moment something tries to settle here,
    you get a warning, and you can block it on the spot..

    1 - The DLL Problems is originally by an application requesting the file.
    2 - Try disable in the "MSCONFIG" all app that you not know.
    3 - In some cases, this problem is related as virus and invasions.

    if virus-related, the dll would be found
    in google, unless it is brand-new, imho..

    you can export that registry line to your desktop or somewhere, delete. And see what happens, you can always put it back with ease;:D

    In some cases, the Antivirus System is able to delete the DLL and the Virus AutoRun not will found the file ;)

    Well, the solution is delete the MSIDLL from startup via MSCONFIG :)

    Thanks,

    Ya, I did so..Obviously before making any change to registry, it's safe to make a back up first...
    deleting the registry the problem has gone, the pop up window is not appearing.. But till now the "run32.dll" task is not being found in the processes list of task manager.......:(

    Thanking you, Deb...
