    Hello.
Thanks to 911dedic and scancode for a useful tool. I've used it several times to set the SLP1.0 string into the BIOS. And all works fine all the time.
But last time I've tried tatoo the netbook Samsung N148. I used the usb utility and set the "$SAMSUNGPC" SLP1.0 string using DMI utility. After this the DMITEST shows me the correct record.
But under the Windows XP the SlicToolkit3.2 says that no any SPL1.0 records.
After this I tried any different vendor SLP1.0 strings (including Hewlett-Packard) and threr is the same thing - DMITEST shows me the string but SlickToolkit doesn't.
Does anyone know what is the problem?

    device: Samsung NP-N148-DA01UA
    BIOS ver.: 02JN

(please be patience for my English, thanks)

Are you sure this is not a Pheonix bios if so DMI Boot CD will not work on this you need bios mod.

probably you are right. this is Phoenix BIOS.
is there no any way to add the SLP string without modding BIOS?

The valid address range may not be in the DMI area. Maybe a manual mod is necessary..

Links are dead. any chance for a mirror?

Also, when I'm using the format tool he asks for DOS system files location, are those files included also in the links here?

    thx.

    EDIT:
I've tried using YUMI and running the original ISO but no luck.

Sorry, but when I click to download nothing happens, I'm only redirected to the minus homepage.

DMI-USB.rar, dmi.IMA.bin, dmitattoo.iso have been removed from minus.

When you view the profile on minus of the uploader it indicatesthere are 0 files (even though it still shows up from the links on the first page). Clicking on those links just re-directs you.

The ISO and Floppy Image are also down.

Could someone please provide these files?
