I had 32bit windows and my 2 GB Ram was at about 70-80% with Bad Company 2 open. Now I've installed 64bit windows and it goes up to 90-95% and makes my pc lagging. Is that because of 64bit windows? (same programs open in both windows installations)

X64 OS requires more ram than X86. Therefore you're better of adding more gigs to your rig or installing the 32bit version since the 2 gig is small for running background applications and your gaming use.

I know, I've installed 64 bit as I'm upgrading to 4 GBs, I just noticed this and thought I could ask :)

EDIT: Thanks to both of you :) It got me a little worried but I guess I'll be fine with 4 gigs

    Unused RAM is wasted RAM.

I think x64 uses more RAM but is easier on processors

Definitely noticeable increase in performance from 4G to 8G ram.

Well, ofc 6/8 GB ram will be better but it really depends on my pocket.
