    I've got a question.
I own a Vaio VPCS13S9E laptop, and I'd like to have control over the fan speed regulation, for example to set the temperature range.
Is a "BIOS mod" what I need?
I tried to look inside the forum but I haven't already understood what are BIOS mods real functions.
Thanks a lot, and sorry for my english. ;)

the fan control is no related to activation process.
you don't need BIOS mod unless software activator fails.

Thank you so much for your answers. Now I understand what are BIOS mods functions.

I have already tried it, but it has no control over those kind of settings in the main part of laptops. It only gives me informations about temperatures and CPU load.
I really need help, because Sony gave me no answers about it, and I need to reduce the fan speed...
