Do we know anything about 2012 R2 OEM activation?

    Noticed that there is not yet any BIOS updates for ie Dell servers

    But do we know if/how 2012 R2 is OEM activated?

    It can be verified with the SLIC Toolkit or RW everything, those with 2012 R2 OEM activated comes with the SLIC 2.3.

    Ofcourse if I had access to such server I would check it myself... and also share the needed bits. But I do not have such server

    seems that Janek2012 posted the original server2012 OEM SLP keys... unfortunately he has been MIA lately here

    OEM:SLP keys will be leaked in November, probably.

    Not that I do not believe, but just needed to upgrade home server to 2012 R2. Could do KMS, but decided to mod BIOS & see for myself. Working fine.

    Dell do not offer Server 2012 R2 as an option yet when purchasing servers, so i don't think we will find out much for a while yet, in regards to Dell anyway.
