Assessing all your questions, i guess it's best to use an AV, Defender will be sufficient.

If you are sensible you don't need antivirus (nor defender).
If you're not sensible, the antivirus won't save you.
I use windows 10 without an antivirus, without defender.

But is that dangerous without even defender?..but how do you stop like malware or potential script that will harm your computer?

Windows Defender is more than enough to protect your computer should you wish to use an AV. Personally though I don't even use Defender. I am on the latest Fast Ring build, and I don't use Defender.

Defender detects way too much false positives and slows down your PC, i prefer lightweight and reliable AV like ESET NOD32. :)

You are in the fast ring build so you mean latest version of windows 10?..so you mean if we are in the latest build of windows no need to use defender or other A.V?...but what if you plug flashdrive or click unintentionally link that will harm your machine how would you manage on this?...I am curios on this..because most of you says that using defender will slow down machine..so now I will not use A.V or defender but my problem how can remove those malicious or virus?..thanks please enligthen my mind

He meant use common sense(aka use your brain).e.g.don't click on ads saying you won iphone, don't click on links in emails supposedly from your bank/co-workers/superior without checking them first(aka copy paste the link in notepad & notice any abnormalities like spelling mistake, weird domains like .tk,.io etc) & always bookmark important sites in browser(of course after checking them) & use those links instead of clicking links in email/messages/social networking sites etc.

Still I recommend using a good AV(at least avira free or avast free) just for peace of mind & especially nowadays with so cheap ssd & 6 core processors that using such AV will make a negligible impact on overall system performance.

defender is annoying, repeating messages about stuff you excluded already, clumsy system for settings. Best is ESET smart security, with it's firewall and robust ecosystem. Otherwise, the free clamwin AV is ok as well, at least it has settings like normal software, able to exclude files and remember the settings.

You're absolutely right, but if we talk about free antivirus solutions, then the defender is among the best ...

Avira free & avast free are also as good & offer more settings.
