I have always unchecked it and hid it from Windows update, I don't get it, why would I need it if I use NOD32? it doesn't do anything that I'm missing right?
oops, seems like it's useless crap from Micro$aft: httx://wwx .howtogeek.com/180773/what-is-the-malicious-software-removal-tool-and-do-i-need-it/
...well M$ missed so many holes (incl. age-old) you could drive a truck, errr a fleet of trucks, through, so I'm not to worried about security.
I run this tool + AntiVirus + CheckDisk + SFC + Optimize SSD every 90 minutes on daily basis, full scan, including countless external drives, flash drives, SDCards, etc. Gets in the way of continuous gaming, but after seeing how many IP addresses I connect too and that there are government agencies and hackers behind each one surely made me realize that its better to be safe than sorry!
Now that's some serious sarcasm. But how do you know that these programs aren't the ones making sure the gov't backdoors are still open? *mind blown*
I also download 3rd party software from Russia and China, which counters US spying. Its like anti-matter vs. matter - US vs. Chussia spy collision and all the spying disintegrates. It also helps to know Tron - he fights for the USER!
