Does Acer uses any asset tag utility like Dell or Hp?

    I am planning to buy an acer laptop..So it would be nice to know does acer uses any asset tag utility to differentiate between a linux and windows 7 notebooks of the same model..

    So in that case i would have to request a mod for that model...:(

    for new nootebook with os, slp aready unlock but with non os like linux not sure about slp(probably lock).
    you can request here for modded one.
