Does anyone tried use Windows 7 Embedding Standard on VMWARE Guest?

    Hello,

    I have VMWARE and trying to install Windows 7 Embedding Standard 64bits and I am trying determine setting VMWARE 12 Workstation to do make it works!

    just use win7 template. - should be more than obvious.

    sorry but this is stupid as f*. - You just had to take a look into the iso.
    you install the iso, as this is the dev environment.
    this is Embedded Compact AKA CE - This is mostly arm not x64. - But I read there is x86 support, but never used it.

    injecting the drivers from vmware tool kit to image should make it work

    i can confirm: it is working on vmware workstation.
    mount the isos
    boot
    install
    runs oob
    you have to google for the keys though :)

    @monstertruckpa
    u can not boot/boot from this disc. as knarz wrote: it is the dev environment to build the image.
    there is even a virtual-pc platform available. i guess u have already found out ;-)
    but i have never had the time to test it out.
    so sorry, no advanced infos available.
