Does Cortana currently have any way to add functionality to it?

Basically, I want to write a DLL (If that is what I need to do...) that allows me to customize Cortana. Or is there another way to customize her? I am looking to add responses via some API or something, I don't know.

Basically, I want to make it so I can say for example:

"Hey Cortana, Cleverbot, How are you today."

I already have the cleverbot code, but I need some way to hook Cortana.

Literally I want to catch what is said
And pass back a string to say.

I'm afraid you're have to wait for BUILD 2015 in April to hear about how developers can integrate with Windows 10 Features including Cortana.
Microsoft should, as they have previous years announce the full list of sessions and provide a live stream of the main ones for W10 but check Channel 9 48 hours after to find the recorded session on there, after that they should start providing the documentation on MSDN.

As for any hacked-ways of doing so, I doubt they have the infrastructure inside the system fully working to allow integration just yet, however we don't know for sure. Anyway that does work is likely to be buggy as hell, just like the experience I've found of Cortana in this build.
